Happy Easter

We had a wonderful, but very busy, Easter. Kirin and Amber came over Saturday night to dye easter eggs. The kids had so much fun and made a predictably big mess! I went to the 8:30 church service so I missed the basket reveal. Dean said Ben was very excited to see that the Easter Bunny had brought him some treats. He loved his new movie (Happy Feet), superman doll, art supplies, trucks, and candy. Daddy went to the 10:30 church service and Ben and I were in the 2-year-old room with 13 kids! Yikes! It was a lot of fun, though a little crazy. I suspect a lot of our friends had been sampling their candy before heading off to church.

After church we headed to my parents for a great lunch, easter egg hunt, and another basket filled with goodies for Ben. He was very excited about his new fingerpaints especially!

We then went home for a much needed nap (mommy included) and then went to Oma's house to spend time with Dean's family and have yet another meal! We consumed way too much food, well at least I did, I think Dean had some self control, but had a great day.

I love my family so much and am so grateful to be able to spend holidays with both sides of our family.
