Pretty ironic that my last post was titled "Big Healthy Boys" considering Ben, who is very rarely sick mind you, has strep throat!! I am pretty thrilled to have a 2 week old in a house infested with strep throat germs...not to mention I feel terrible for Benny. He has had a terrible sore throat and a high fever the past couple days. Poor pumpkin. He has been on antibiotics for the past 36 hours so hopefully he will be feeling better soon. In the meantime, if it is possible we have been getting even less sleep lately! Dean has been taking care of Ben in the middle of the night and I, obviously, am on Joey feeding duty. Two nights ago we figured out that between the 2 boys we were up all night long. Good times.
Other than that we are still doing well. Joey is a really wonderful baby. He is still eating about every 2-3 hours and sleeping much of the rest of the time but is alert in the morning and late in the evening and I love staring at his big eyes (I can't tell what color they are yet, kind of a dark grey right now) and watching his facial expressions as he takes in the world around him. He is such a cutie pie and it amazes me how big Ben seems now that Joey is here. Ben is such a great big brother and loves to help take care of him.
At least one member of our family is sleeping well these days!!!
