I live in a house with two little boys who are exerting their independance in many ways every day, not the least of which is their desire to shower by themselves. Now, as you can imagine, hygiene is not a top priority of prepubescent boys...or now that I think of it, really boys of many ages. This fact leads me to the lovely conversation Benjamin and I just had while sitting on the couch watching Polar Express for what will surely be the first of 1000 viewings this holiday season.
me: "Ben. I can smell your bottom."
Ben: "Doesn't it smell awesome?"
Um no. Disgusting.
