The boys and I have been outside, literally, nonstop the past week enjoying the high 70 degree days. Dean joined us for some bball late Thursday afternoon and was teaching the boys the BEEF acronym (balance, eye, elbow, followthrough). Joey decided to then impart this new found knowledge on me.
joe: "Hey Mom! Do you want to learn how to shoot?"
me: "Of course!"
joe: "Ok. You take the ball and then airplane, pencil, chicken, shoot." and then he shoots the ball.
me "What?"
joe: "Airplane, pencil, chicken, shoot. That's just what we say when we shoot the ball."
me (to dean): "What is he talking about?"
dean (to joe): "Buddy? Do you mean balance, eye, elbow, followthrough?"
joe: "Yah, that's it."
