We were proud and honored to help Kirin (Dean's Goddaughter) celebrate her first communion on May 6. I got very emotional watching her walk across the front of the sanctuary. I could remember the day I found out her mom, Angela, was pregnant with Kirin, spending time with Ang while Kirin was still in her belly and laughing when Kirin would kick and dance from inside her. And I remembered holding Kirin and loving her from the second I first laid eyes on her. Kirin is a beautiful, kind, intelligent and sweet girl and we are so proud to call her our dear friend and Goddaughter.
