In the Beginning...
Over the past year I discovered a strange truth about myself, I am obsessed with blogs. I am a full fledge stalker when it comes to reading my friends blogs. I often check every day hoping for a new post or even better, new pictures. My friends have made so much fun of me that I finally relented, or rather Dean relented for me, and we have started a blog for our family. Hopefully you will enjoy the ramblings that are sure to follow and the plethora of Ben photos that I hope to post (when I figure out how to)!
At the very least, I hope that we can keep up with this blog as a journal for Ben, so that he may someday be able to read about how full he has made our lives and the joy that he brings to Dean and my world every day.

I can't believe you caved! This will be great for late-night reading and for keeping up with you. Ooooh... I know. Michelle should have a blog about her wedding, then I'll have another to read. And Mallory can start one, too. She can write about what it's like to live surrounded by crazy Hammels and never able to get away.... Craig, it's up to you to find your own topic for your blog, but once you do, my plan for cyber-stalking the Hammels will be complete.
