Fair Fun

We went to the Indiana State Fair tonight with our friends Angela, Kirin, and Amber. We had such an amazing time. We were there about 3 hours and could have spent many more, but it was time to head home for a much needed bath and bed!

There was this great kiddie area where the kids could pretend they were farmers by "feeding" cows and pigs, "picking" vegetables, "collecting" eggs, "milking" a cow, and driving a tractor. At the end of the adventure they even got paid for their efforts and were able to purchase treats such as string cheese or granola bars from a little store with their pretend money. So cute! It was a lot of fun for both the kids and the parents to watch. Ben was really into the animals this year (I of course sneezed my way through the exhibits...darn allergies). He enjoyed feeding goats, petting horses, and playing with brand new baby piglets!

We of course enjoyed way too much fair food and the kids rocked out to a Jonas Brothers concert that was taking place at the grandstand that night...they are big with the Radio Disney crowd!!!

I love the Fair and I'm glad that it seems Benny does too!

I thought you would like that. I fit in well with all the fair folk with my big belly and shoving my face full of food...my favorite part of the fair!!

I agree... Yea for the belly pic!

You look like you're having fun. Hope you're also resting, though I suspect not....

Love you.
