It was another busy but exciting race day. All the usual suspects met at our house bright and early on Sunday morning and after they all headed to the track, the boys and I did some cookie baking and deviled egg making and then packed up and headed north to meet Michelle and Mallory for a picnic at a great park near Michelle's house. We had so much fun. Ben enjoyed the slides and Joey loved his first swing ride. He giggled and smiled the entire time.
After the park we checked on Oma who just had total knee replacement last week and is doing an awesome job recovering, picked up Bampaw, and then headed home to get ready for a cookout. Everyone returned from the race dirty and happy and we all settled in for a great night of eating and playing in the backyard.
