Oh What a Night

Last weekend we went "camping" at the Flinns house. To say that we all had a blast would be a gross understatment. It was honestly the best night and the Flinns were great hosts. We were also joined by the Chaplins, Hahns, and Corks for the festivities. We cooked out, swam in the pool for hours, and enjoyed watching Joey go down the water slide and jump in from the side over and over and over again. I don't have a ton of pictures because Joe was such a waterbug that I was consumed with watching him like a hawk and catching him as he dove in the pool without a care in the world. That kid is seriously fearless...and it terrifies me! I'm used to cautious Benny, don't know what to do with this little wild man.

Sometimes a picture says it all...Joe had so much fun swimming he lost a shoe...and his pants!

After the kids (and adults) had their fill of swimming, we changed into jammies and Michael set up an outdoor movie screen with a white sheet stretched across a shed wall and used a projector screen to show Madagascar 2. It was awesome and the kids were all thrilled to spread out blankets and much on popcorn while watching the show uinder the stars!

After the movie we had a bonfire and made smores. SOOOO good and fun.

Joey and I slept inside but Dean and Ben and many of the rest of the guests pitched tents and slept outside. Everyone seemed to sleep well and the next morning everyone enjoyed some donuts...but perhaps no one enjoyed them more than Joe!

Umm...Ben looks soooo old in the picture where he's holding the flashlight. Where did the time go? :(
