Family Outing

We had a great day on Sunday. We went to church, out to lunch at Qdoba (yummmm), and then headed to the Murat to see the DOODLEBOPS. I know many of you may not be familiar with the Doodlebops, but let me tell you, they are pretty cool among the toddler crowd. Think The Wiggles with more choreographed dance routines and brightly colored costumes and wigs. As Benny would say "they are SO funny."

Ben had a blast at the show and was so good (until we left, but oh well, at least we were outside when he had his meltdown and he passed out in the car 10 minutes later so we'll just chalk his mood up to being tired). We had great seats...well actually our seats were supposed to be in the balcony, which we didn't discover until two days later. Our tickets said 4 Royalty, and we didn't realize that royalty meant balcony. We sat in row 4 in the lower level, seriously by mistake. No one said anything so at least we must not have stolen anyone elses seats! Thank God for happy accidents!

Anyway...Ben loved singing the songs and dancing (jumping) in the aisles. He waved to characters and really wanted them to "come see me." He has been singing the songs and trying to do the dance moves since we left. A great time was had by all and I think Dean is thinking about quiting his job and touring as the fourth Doodlebop.
