Ben and Carlos?

Ben and I went for a walk to the park this week and on our way we were talking, mostly about bugs and tall trees, you know, cool stuff! Suddenly our talk turned somewhat serious and Ben asked me how our baby was doing. Now that I can feel the baby move inside me, Ben is very curious as to whether "she" is awake or asleep. I told him I thought she was sleeping since she wasn't moving much, or perhaps she was just enjoying the walk and listening to her big brother talk. I then asked Ben if he had given any more thought to what we should name our baby. He promptly replied "Judy Fireman Stinks" (that one is really hanging in there!). Ben almost always refers to his baby as "she" and is pretty convinced that I am carrying his baby sister, but I asked him what we would name the baby if "she" turned out to be a "he." Ben didn't think that was a realistic possibility, but after great thought he announced that should his baby sister really be a baby brother, we should name him Captain Carlos! For those of you without a toddler in your house, Captain Carlos is a character on the Disney Channel. So, long story short, as of right now I am either carrying Judy Fireman Stinks or Captain Carlos. How exciting!
