Lake Freeman

Ben and I had a great time this weekend at the lake with Michael, Angela, Kirin, and Amber. Dean had to work so he couldn't join us. We missed him but managed to have fun without him! On Friday, Angela and I took the kids to nearby amusement park Indiana Beach. Kirin and Ben had so much fun riding the rides in kiddieland. Ben's favorite was the motorcycle ride.









Michael took us for a boat ride Friday afternoon and we cheered as Angela and Kirin went tubing. Ben even got to help Michael drive the boat!









We had a big dinner with tons of friends Friday night and enjoyed smores with Jacob, Jessica, Kirin, and Amber down at Danny and Abby's house. We even got to go to Storm's (the best ice cream place ever) for a late night treat. Gotta love the lake...there are no rules when it comes to proper diet and bedtimes! Ben and I finally crashed after 11 pm and actually managed to "sleep in" until about 8 am.









We took a trip out to the sandbar Saturday morning and all the kids had so much fun playing in the shallow water. Ben is always a little apprehensive around water at first, but after a short while was up to his waist in water soaking Michael.










We are so lucky to have such great friends who allow us to visit their lake house. We love the lake and hope to make it up again this summer...hopefully with daddy next time.
