Today was Benny's 3rd birthday! I can't believe my baby is 3 years old! Dean and I watched video of Ben's past birthdays and were amazed by how much he has grown and changed over the years. He is such a little man now.
Ben was definitely into his birthday this year. We had a Buzz Lightyear theme and invited our family as well as Ben's adopted family, our friends Abby and Jarin, over for a cookout. We had a great time and Ben was spoiled rotten, as usual. He received some great gifts, including a new Lightening McQueen bicycle, a dinosaur mountain play set, fireman play set, and lots of Buzz Lightyear stuff. Ben is a lucky boy.
After the party, Benny and mommy took a nap and then we just had a low key evening at home. We opted out of fireworks, as the birthday boy was pretty tired and as I write this Dean and Ben are passed out in Ben's bed and have been for quite awhile.
