We had such a great week! Cherrylynn and Cadalyn came from Texas to visit and spent a couple of days with us. We loved having them here. Ben enjoyed helping take care of the babies and Cadalyn and Joey were really cute together. Joey pretty much just took everything in like he always does, but Cadalyn was fascinated by him and loved to smack him (in a very loving way) in the face and see what kind of reaction she could get from him. Michelle even babysat one evening so we could go see a movie--what a treat, thanks Aunt Sissy!

Joey had a doctor's appointment last week as well. At 9 weeks he weighed in at 13 pounds 12 ounces (90th percentile) and 23 inches (50th percentile). He clearly has the Heaviland head too at 16.5 inches, which is 90th percentile! I love my big head boys!

Joey is changing every day and getting so big so fast. He is already in size 2 diapers, which seriously about killed me to purchase. I can't believe how big he is getting and it breaks my heart to imagine that he could be my last baby. Waaaa! He is doing all of the things he "should" be doing developmentally. He does a great job holding his (big) head up, smiles all the time, "talks" a lot (that is about all he gets from me so far!), and found his thumb. He is an unbelievably good sleeper. I typically put him down for the night at about 9 p.m. and he sleeps until about 6:00 a.m. What a champ!

Ben is wonderful as well. He and I are going through a bit of a rough time right now. I annoy him (is that supposed to happen so early?) and he much prefers his daddy right now. I am so glad that Dean and Ben are such good buddies but I sometimes feel left out when they are in their zone. Oh well, I suppose I should get used to it since Joey will join their team too one of these days. As long as I have the milk though, he is all mine!!!

Nana says to stop saying my Grandson's have big heads!!! They are perfect heads. My boys are the best! Cadalyn is a doll. I'm sorry that we missed seeing her this visit.
Oh man...mom beat me to it! I was going to warn you about the big head comment! :) I love Ben's Future Heartbreaker shirt! And it was my pleasure to babysit, I just might not have kids anytime soon. :)
