Big Stuff

So I'm getting a new camera (thanks Dean) but haven't yet decided what I want. Regardless, I still have my old camera and love looking back through pictures to see what we have been up to. I swear I fear for the future as my memory is already failing and it, sadly, takes physical proof in the form of photographic evidence to jog my memory as to where we have been and what we have been doing. The past few weeks have been filled with fun (in between the fits, fights, tears, and timeouts of course): This is where you can find Joey several times a day. Potty training is my absolute least favorite parenting task but Joey is really doing well. Some days are better than others but I am pleased with his progress thus far and am so glad we redid the boys bathroom last summer since I spend about 50% of my day sitting on the floor in there.
When not spending time in the bathroom, we have squeezed in several trips to our neighbors to swim. The boys are AMAZING in the water. Both boys wear water wings and/or a lifevest still but they can both jump off the diving board and swim unassisted and are really having a blast in the water. I love it! No amazing pics to document this, you'll just have to take my word for it.
Last week we had the honor of accompanying our sweet Brookie B to the zoo for the first time. She loved it and despite the HOT weather we had such a good time. Highlights included the shark tank where all three kids nearly dove in they were so anxious to touch a shark. I think Benny is the only one who actually did touch a fin but Brookie and Joe Bug gave a good effort.
Ben and Joe also got to feed the giraffes, which was awesome. I have to say their height was pretty intimidating and Joey was a bit timid. Ben did a great job and I fed the momma while Joe clung to me and shut his eyes!
Abby has been taking Joey to his soccer classes the past couple of weeks when I am at work. He has enjoyed showing her his skills and she snapped these shots during his last class last Thursday.

Super cute photo of Joe on the froggy potty :) Can't wait to have an all Joe day on Thursday. Love you, Joe Bug!
