my new favorite thing

I will never tire of hearing my sweet little Joe-Bug's scratchy baby boy voice and the way he (mis)pronounces things. I actually get upset when people try to correct him because it is so darn cute to hear his little voice and quite the entertaining game to guess what he is saying! My all time favorite right now is the latest in his long line of movie obsessions. Puhtilda. You may know this movie as Matilda, but in our house it is lovingly referred to as Puhtilda and I hope it stays that way for a long time. He also enjoys Hone Yone (Home Alone), Monsters (Monsters, Inc), and Baayardgens (Backyardigans). The only lingering speech issue Ben has is with the letter T. He was reading me a book last night (which is AWESOME and one of the highlights so far of my parenting adventure. I love having my child read to me. No sweeter sound to my ears.) and everything was "dis" "dits" and "dat." I corrected him, of course, but I secretly really love to hear the little misprounciations, it helps me hold onto the belief that my big boy is still my baby, when that is becoming increasingly hard to believe as I see this tall, grown up, BOY laying on the couch next to me, reading me a book. Yikes. How did DAT happen?!
