Really, Ben?

Being the independent big 6 (1/2)-year-old that he is, Benjamin has ventured into the world of being a sports fan on his own and rather than being simply just a "home team" fan and cheering for our Colts and Pacers (which he does), he has decided that his favorite NFL team is....drum roll....The New York Giants? Hm. Where did this come from you ask? Well one of Dean's co-workers did give Ben a NY Giants onesie when he was born so I suppose that could be the root of his affection, though I doubt it. I blame Playstation. Ben and Dean like to play football video games and Eli Manning has evidently put up some big numbers for Ben lately. "They're really moving the ball well, Mom" Ben told me matter-of-factly when I asked why he was such a big Giants fan all of a sudden. I actually think it is really cute to see Ben have his own opinion and suspect this is the first of many, many, many times that our viewpoints will differ over the years.
