Funny Ben Strikes Again

Ben has been full of funnies lately and I keep telling myself I need to write them down so I don't forget. Here is a small sampling of my favorite Ben stories from this week. Dean went to pick up Ben and Kirin from church choir practice on Sunday night. On their way home the following conversation took place: Ben: "Kirin and I have been talking and we are going to get married some day. I am going to buy her a big diamond, take her to the church, say I do and then we will be married. Then, she will have plastic surgery and we will have a baby." Kirin: "Ben, I'm not having surgery, I'm just going to get a big belly." Ben: "You already have a big belly." Kirin: "I know! That's because I eat so much junk!!!!" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! The second story happened the next morning while I was taking Ben, Kirin, and Amber to school. They were having a Safari Theme Day at School and Jungle John was bringing in animals. The kids were supposed to wear khaki pants and a shirt with an animal on it to school that. Ben was beyond fired up. When I got home from the gym Monday morning at 6:45 a.m. he was fully dressed and sitting at the kitchen table eating a bowl of cereal. He proceeded to ask every 15 minutes if it was time to go to school yet...up until 8:45 a.m. when it was, in fact, time to finally go to school. On our way to school Ben eagerly announced to us all at the top of his lungs: "I am a VEGETARIAN. I wear TACKY pants and I have on a Moose shirt!" What a wierdo. It was a big weak at school as they also had a dental hygienist visit today. I had to stop at CVS to pick up Joey's prescription on our way home from school and Ben wore a surgical mask and gloves into CVS and proceeded to tell everyone in the store that he was a dentist and they better brush their teeth or the slimy green aliens would shoot green germs all over their mouth. I think people were kind of scared of him.
