The title of this post pretty much sums up our week. As I said in our last post, the stomach flu hit our house this week, or at least 50% of the house. Joey was "sick" for about a week with diarrhea and Dean came home early from work on Monday with the bug. He was pretty miserable for about 10 hours but was well enough come Tuesday morning to go to work. Knock on wood, the virus passed Ben and I by...at least for now!
We also kicked off the week with a bang with the beginning renovations of our truly heinous guest bathroom. We have been so excited to remodel this bathroom and have been on our contractor's waiting list for the past 8 months. It has been well worth the wait. The bathroom should be done tomorrow and I absolutely love how it turned out. I'm not sure I'm going to let anyone use it, however. It might just be for show!
Because Joey was recooping from his stomach issues we pretty much just hung out around the house this week. We did attempt to paint and that went about as well as could be expected...
Friday was a big day with Ben's valentine's day party at school and Joey and I had a play date at the Children's Museum with Angela and Adam and Lisa and Taylor. I did feel guilty at first about being at the Children's Museum without Benjamin, but it was truly awesome to be able to watch Joey tear up the museum and do anything he wanted to do. He loved the entire Playscape area as always and enjoyed a ride on the carousel. We were at the museum for nearly 3 hours, which led to a very long afternoon nap!

Saturday we had so much fun watching Ben at his basketball game. He did such an awesome job. His most proud stat was scoring 7 baskets, which was the high for his team, Uncle Craig! However, we were so impressed with how much of a team player he was. He dribbled the ball so well and passed to his teamates and cheered for them. He also did not taunt the other team, which is something we have been working on!!! Ben almost got "benched" at soccer practice on Thursday night for booing the other team and calling someone a "loser." I was horrified!!

We all had a great Valentine's Day as well. Ben and Joey spent the evening at Nana and Bampaw's and Dean and I went to dinner and a movie. Ben spent the night at Nana and Bampaw's last night and we missed him and are excited to reunite at church this morning.

Joe doesn't seem to really be feeling the painting...poor buggy!!! Glad you are feeling better Joey.
Yummmm... Paint. I'm in love with Ben's camera smile.
Next time we're in town, please sign us up for a date at the Children's Museum.
