Wrap it Up

Ben just finished another successful sporting season. Peanut League Baseball ended on a bummer note as torrential rains the night before caused the last game of the season to be cancelled. I had one upset 6-year-old on my hands. Even receiving a trophy didn't put a smile on his face.

Fortunately, getting to play a quick pick-up game with some of his best buds quickly cheered him up! Nothing better than watching your boys run between puddles, laughing with friends, chasing after balls, and sliding into home.

My heart was so full by the time we were done playing that even the short walk to school to officially sign B up for kindergarten couldn't diminish my smile. Here we go.
