- Dead Battery for my car ($120)
- Broken Garage Door Opener ($325)
- Dean's car...lots of issues (roughly $800 I think when all was said and done)
- And the latest in our laundry list of troubles came when doing laundry on Sunday evening and discovering two inches of water (mercifully on our UNfinished side of the basement only). In short, we have a messed up bit of pipe in our front yard connecting, or not connecting as was the case, to our house. Quite a bit of pipe. About 50 feet of pipe to say the least. I'll let the pictures do the talking. Over $5,000 and a torn up yard later we should be back in business.
That'll do for now. It would be great if things could stop breaking all around us for awhile. I know it could be worse and, again, this is just stuff and money we are talking about, all of which is replaceable. But good grief. Talk about flushing money away...at least our new pipes can handle it...I hope!!

Oh....this makes me sad. I had my car accident recently and a spring broke on our garage door. So, I know how it feels. The pipe is a big one.:( It made me sad to see your yard torn up like that. I'm glad you had a great weekend before all the pipe drama....especially your night out with Dean! Sounds like a great time. Hope things get better!
