Dean and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary on August 25. Ten YEARS. Holy cow. Dean surprised me with an overnight trip down to The West Baden Springs Resort in French Lick. We amused ourselves with long walks exploring the grounds, pizza and wine tasting at the French Lick Winery, trying to get the "Goldfish Bonus" on a penny slot machine in the casino, and I was even treated to a massage, manicure, and pedicure. It was an amazing, wonderful, perfect 24 hours and fantastic way to celebrate ten years together.
Dean's card to me sums up my feelings best: "To the Woman I'd marry all over again...my loving partner, my very best friend. I love you. Happy Anniversary." Ditto. Except, you know, substitue Man for Woman. So lucky to be loved by and in love with my Dean.
