Baby Brooke was baptized on Saturday, July 18 amongst her many, many, many family members...the Sheets, Brands, Hammels, and of course the Heavilands showed up in throngs to congratulate our new little Christian sister! In true budding diva fashion, Brookie did awesome, staring peacefully at her admiring fans until the priest dared to mess up her hair with his oils and steal her attention with his words! Then she SCREAMED. She was easily consoled by her loving momma and the rest of the ceremony went on without a hitch. She looked so beautiful and is such a sweet little lady. We are so blessed to have her in our lives.

The boys did awesome during the ceremony...thanks in large part to the fact that Dean took them outside for the actual baptism! I was posing as paparazzi and snapping a million photos so super dad was in charge of the monkeys. They were seriously well behaved though and even posed for some pictures.
