Always Be My Baby

It honestly doesn't get any better than Joe Bug. He is the cutest kiddo ever and I just want to bottle up his sweetness....to take out an enjoy when he is being rotten! Joe just came toddling out (it is about 7 a.m.) to say good morning and ask me if after breakfast we can go to his "pahty." Somehow Joe has a New York accent, not sure how this was acquired! I asked him "What party sweetie?" and he said "My chuckie cheese pahty!" Several of Joe's friends have had birthdays lately and Joey is fired up to have a chuckie cheese party this year! I explained to him that his birthday is not for quite a while and he then walked around saying "December thuwd" as though he could wish it to be that date already! We had a discussion last night about him being my baby, to which he yelled at the top of his lungs "I not yo baby. I big bo-oy!" I explained that he would always be my baby and busted into song (the old Mariah Carey) "you will always be a part of me, I'm part of you indefinitely. Boy don't you know you can't escape me. No darling cause you'll always be my baby." Joe laughed but insisted that he is not my baby. This morning Joey conceded. He told Dean "Daddy, I yo baby." I yelled across the room "Excuuuuuse me??" and Joey said "I yo baby too...I go night night one more time, then I be big boy."
