Apple Pickin

We had the pleasure of spending a day with Brookie B yesterday and in honor of this and in appreciation of the ridiculously gorgeous fall day we decided to head to a new spot... Anderson Orchard. There was an apple festival under way when we arrived at the orchard about 30 minutes southwest of our house. All three kiddos were so excited to run through the trees picking apples.

Brookie definitely thought tasting the apples was the best part. It was not easy keeping up with all three kids. Brookie tried to help me corral the boys by chasing after Joey waving her arms (and her apple) saying "no no Joe Joe."

After we had our bags and bellies full of apples we checked out the rest of the festival. We saw the pumpkins.

And then the kids discovered their second favorite part of the orchard, the playground.There is nothing better than spending time in the sunshine with the people I love most. We were all together all weekend long and it was such a blessing and a gift and I truly believe we all enjoyed and appreciated every second.
